Kitchen under a pergola
Layout, cooking clearances, lighting, heating, natural ventilation, and circulation around the structure.
Outdoor kitchens
We design a permanent outdoor kitchen around four realities: the yard, the appliances selected, the services that need to be run, and the pergola or roof above it. Finishes come after the layout is resolved.

Layout, cooking clearances, lighting, heating, natural ventilation, and circulation around the structure.
Kitchen close to the home with built-in BBQ, sink, counters, storage, and technical access coordinated before fabrication.
Bar zone, fridge, service surfaces, accessory storage, and prep space designed so hosting does not depend on constant trips inside.
Clear technical planning with designers, architects, landscapers, contractors, and Pergolas Signature teams when the outdoor structure is involved.
What is designed
A successful outdoor kitchen depends on distances, access, and how the space is used. We settle the zones before talking about finishes.
Built-in BBQ, kamado, plancha, or pizza oven with clearances, heat, ventilation, and service access planned.
Useful counter space, food handling, waste, accessories, and proximity to the indoor kitchen.
Sink, faucet, drainage, winterization, and connections planned according to the terrace and seasons.
Bar zone, pass-through, entertaining counter, fridge, and guest circulation around the kitchen.
Drawers, doors, vertical storage, tank or connection access, and volumes adapted to real accessories.
Relationship with pergola, covered roof, side walls, pool, guardrails, steps, and access from the house.
Integrated appliances
Appliances define openings, clearances, ventilation, module depth, and maintenance access. We confirm them early to avoid visible compromises on site.
Width, depth, support, hot zones, and combustion clearances are confirmed before fabrication.
Placement planned for heat, residue, accessories, and cooking comfort.
Water supply, drainage, seasonal shutoff, and technical access considered from the start.
Ventilation, electrical supply, door swing, and real use during gatherings.
Front construction
Cabinets
Aluminum honeycomb, rigid and light, that won’t swell or rot the way wood or PVC does.
304 stainless inside and out: hygienic and durable against rain, snow, and UV.
Powder-coated on 304 stainless steel, matched to the pergola, cladding, and appliances.
Textured stainless inside the cabinets, or the same powder-coat colour as the exterior, depending on the look you want.
Drainage, access, components, and counters planned for our freeze-thaw cycles.
Planning questions
Which appliances will be built in, and do we have their exact technical specs?
Will the kitchen sit under a pergola, under a covered roof, or fully exposed to weather?
Where do gas, water, electrical, drainage, and maintenance access need to run?
Who cooks, who serves, where do guests circulate, and how does the kitchen connect to the house?
What needs to remain accessible in winter or be shut down for the season?
